That was the Floorball Festival Berlin 2025

This year's Floorball Festival Berlin took place on 13 and 14 September - a weekend that we will all remember for a long time to come.

It was intense, challenging and at the same time full of great encounters.

On Saturday morning, the festival was ceremoniously opened under the moderation of organiser Dennis Hayungs. The U9 players from the organising club were also present at the entrance of the individual teams Karow badgers The team stood guard to welcome the visiting teams, some of whom had travelled very long distances, with great cheers.

Over the course of Saturday and at the beginning of Sunday, the 7 participating teams played a simple preliminary round in "everyone against everyone" mode. It was particularly exciting in the upper half of the table, where four teams (WSU Wierzchowo, Berlin Broilers 04, UHC Martigny, Berliner TSC) fought an exciting race for the top places.

Every ball was fought for on the pitch, and the matches were consistently high-class and exciting.

Between the games, there was always time for chatting, discussions and lots of laughter. Players, coaches and fans used the breaks to get to know each other, share experiences, make new contacts, forge ideas for future collaborations or simply enjoy the shared floorball experience - which is exactly what made the festival so special.

In addition to the sports programme, we had a few extras to keep everyone in a good mood:

Photo box - for lots of fun souvenir photos

Goal shooting competition - who has the hardest shot?

Mystery boxes - highly coveted and full of surprises

Match for 3rd place

The match for third place and the final were particularly exciting:

UHC Martigny (Switzerland) secured third place after a thrilling 6-5 overtime win against Berlin TSC.

Final

The two best-placed teams from the preliminary round then met in the final: WSU Wierzchowo from Poland and the Berlin Broilers 04. This match promised a lot of excitement, as the players from WSU Wierzchowo had finished the preliminary round in first place, but their only defeat had come against the Broilers.

The result was a thrilling match worthy of the festival final, which Wierzchowo ultimately won by a narrow 2-0 margin.

Wierzchowo not only won the Floorball Festival Berlin trophy, but was also presented with the main prize - 10 tickets for the Women's Floorball World Championship in Brno.

We would like to thank all the teams, sponsors, guests and helpers who made this weekend something very special.

We can't wait to see you all again next year - with even more floorball, even more laughter and even more great encounters!
